PREPARING YOU FOR THE FUTURE
We specialise in pre-university education at A level and we have created an International Foundation Programme leading to entry into university.
The College combines informality and an adult approach to education, with a disciplined system in which each student’s work is carefully monitored. We aim to establish strong academic foundations, achieve outstanding examination results and engender a mature and independent attitude vital for taking advantage of life’s opportunities.
A Levels are a nationally recognised and well-respected two-year Sixth Form qualification, providing students with a route through to university or employment. Students will study 3 A Levels for two academic years or six terms. All A Level classes are taught on the college site and students will have a personalised timetable built around their personal choices. All classes have a maximum capacity of 8 students.
A Level programmes will also have a broadly equivalent amount of ‘self-study’ time required outside of classes each week, alongside 23 hours of tuition. The amount of independent study time for each individual course will vary but, in general, 5 hours per week for each A Level is typical.
Our tutors will help you choose the right combination of subjects to ensure the best chance of acceptance to the top universities in your chosen field of study. Below you will see the subjects available from September 2018:
- Accounting (A Level)
- Art, Craft & Design
- Computer Science
